Not everything, But a good set.
Much of this set is a retread, but good. I hope one day Disney will release the "Definitive Collection" of all their music/soundtracks from their films and Theme Parks (World of Color anytime soon?)

Awesome set!
First of all I'd like to address that Amazon shipped this right away and I got the item today. Very timely and prompt!
This is a great collection of songs. I enjoyed the theme park selections, particularly the inclusion of the classic EPCOT Center songs "One Little Spark," "Kitchen Kabaret Medley," and "Universe Of Energy."
It also has "Now Is The Best Time Of Your Life" from the 70's-90's incarnation of the Magic Kingdom's "Carousel Of Progress."
The "O Canada" version used is the current version, with Eva Avila, and not the 80's duet. Some might prefer the duet over the current version, but I already have that in a prior compilation so it's nice to have it here. Also the "Splash Mountain" medley is from Disneyland, and not the countryfied Magic Kingdom version.
I'm wondering why "Goof Troop" theme was not included, as I have not seen that on any other albums. I would've also preferred to have the Phineas and Ferb opening theme...
Quality?
As all of the other reviews rave (a little more enthusiastically than I can take seriously), it's a good collection of Disney music. A ton of exceptional talent has gone into the Disney music catalog through the years, and wanting to share these wonderful songs with my child, I've been watching for a good, solid (and affordable) compilation for a couple of years. This is a good collection. Poorly executed.
If anyone can afford to remaster their music, it's Disney, yet they have not. The three discs of older music in this collection sound as if I recorded them through a microphone held up to my tv while watching the movies on VHS. Or perhaps from my childhood record player. Awful quality. I was hoping for some sing-along music for car trips but the sound is just painful in the car, I can't do it. The one disc of songs from the most current movies sounds fine, and we'll enjoy that one, but I'm not happy about spending $30 on one cd.
There's also no metadata on the...
From The Studio's earliest days, music has always been an integral part of the Disney creative process. But when 'Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf' debuted in 1933, it began a musical legacy that remains unmatched to this day. Disney Classics Box Set is a music collection that represents this legacy.
Timeless Classics
Collected here are some of the most iconic melodies from Disney's golden era. From 'When You Wish Upon a Star' to 'A Spoonful of Sugar' and 'Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah' to 'The Whistle Stop,' these Timeless Classics are part of a musical heritage inextricably woven into our human culture heirlooms passed down through the generations.
Modern Classics
This compilation begins with 1989's The Little Mermaid, which not only ignited the renaissance of Disney Animation and storytelling, but a rebirth of Disney Music as well. Favorites from 'Under the Sea,' 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'A Whole New World,' these Modern Classics continue to shape the company's musical history and heritage.
Television Classics
Spanning from the 1950s to present day, this album represents quite an eclectic compilation of themes. At the very least, it's an interesting musical graph of changing tastes and social evolution over the last 60+ years. Everything from 'The Ballad of Davy Crockett,' to 'Get'cha Head in the Game' from High School Musical, is represented on this album, but probably the most beloved of these Television Classics however, has to be the 'Mickey Mouse Club Alma Mater.'
Theme Park Classics
Music plays a vital role in the Parks as well; whether it be cleverly establishing an attraction's story or the sheer brilliance of underscoring the banks and turns of a thrilling roller coaster. Collected here are not only those Theme Park Classics we know and love today, but others we fondly remember from days gone by.
