Not spill-proof, but better than most
I purchased this cup (and the Mickey Mouse counterpart) about 3 weeks ago at my local Disney Store (for much cheaper). I really like these cups. Though they aren't spill proof, I think if you're watching your child drink so you can control possible tipping and tossing, these are the easiest sippy cups for children to drink from. I've tried at least 7 different sippy cups over the past year and all of them are pretty bad. They're either too difficult to drink from through the straw or their design causes pressure to build in the cup so that the contents are constantly spouting and dripping from the straw (essentially not spill proof). These cups don't seem to have the pressure build up issue. *Something to note, however, is the shape of the cup - these do not fit into child car seat cup holders, so keep this in mind if reading this review and you are thinking about purchasing one. My daughter uses hers at home.
