Through the eyes of a child

I wish I had this book around when I used to tell bedtime stories to my nieces. Scott Langteau manages to have all the wonderment, whimsy and humor of a child. The witty rhymes match perfectly with Lidat Truong's colorful illustrations. I love to gift books, and this will definitely find its way to more than one happy kid this holiday.

I originally bought this to read to my son on a plane trip back to the east coast, preparing him for snow and the like. little did I know I would read this over and over before bedtime to my sweet boy. People, this is a good one.

What a fun read-aloud book and visually, just stunning!

I needed a great Christmas gift for my Godson and since we both enjoy reading aloud, what better gift than this funny, exciting and lovingly-illustrated book? I mean, the ending (and I'm not going to give it away) is what makes it so fascinating to both the adult reading it to the child, and the child himself. I actually laughed out loud at the clever conclusion. Do you want something unique and something that will surely be a Christmas classic for years to come?
